Crystal - World's Smallest Low Frequency Oscillator Offers Low Current.
The world’s smallest "all-in-one-package" miniature low frequency oscillator is now available from the Micro Crystal. Ultra-small size ceramic package combines the smallest 32,768Hz timing crystal with a complete CMOS oscillator circuit. The OV-7604-C7 measures just 3.2 x 1.5 x 1.0mm in a ceramic SMD. Its high stability and very low current consumption are ideal for today's high-performance appliances. The OV-7604-C7 is fully RoHS Compliant and 100% lead-free.
The wide operating voltage, from 5.5V down to 1.2V, ensures reliable operation--even on low voltage. Maximum current is 0.5µA at 3V. As such, draws up to 10 times less than other oscillators. The all-in-one design can also help to significantly reduce development time and therefore time-to-market. Prototyping though final design can all be streamlined.
Frequency tolerance is +/-20 ppm; tighter tolerance optional. Operating temperature range is ─40°C to +85°C, with a storage range of -55°C to +125°C standard. Shock resistance is up to 5,000g.
Six to ten week production quantity delivery. Priced at $1.65 each in 1,000 piece lots.
